Mrs. Good's Math Plans, Week of October 22, 2012

Monday we will finish the Rates and Ratios unit with the test and collection of folders. Tuesday we will start a new unit called "operations." The objective for this unit is for students to become proficient in the four basic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using negative and positive numbers.

Core Math:

·         Monday – unit test, folders due. Homework: none.

·         Tuesday – Classwork: pages 1-4, problems 1-4 in new unit “Operations” and the activity on page 3. Homework: none.

·         Wednesday – Classwork: pages 4-6, problems 5-10. Homework: page 52, problems 1 & 2.

·         Thursday – Classwork: pages 6-9, problems 11-17. Homework: pages 11 & 12, problems 1-4 and For Further Reflection.

·         Friday – Classwork: pages 12-15, problems 1-9. Homework: none.
